Another absolute cracker on the Isle of Man! Melvyn Evans took the victory laurels after leading 5 times winner Kenny McKinstry overnight. When the Ulsterman retired Saturday midday the gap was manageable to Roger Duckworth in second place, but the battles further down the field were no less intense.
Another trip to Epynt this time for the Welsh. Probably the best entry since its re-birth saw Melvyn Evans take victory on the military ranges. A number of crews were also out testing with forthcoming events on their minds as well as the event being the 2nd round of the Epynt Challenge.
A stunning entry headed to Minehead for the fourth round of the BTRDA championship. It was the reigning BTRDA Gold Star champion Will Nicholls who took the victors laurels after a tight battle throughout the event. Mechanical failure robbed Andy Burton of the chance to extend his winning streak.

Summer sun!
After a prolonged cool and wet spring the sun has finally come out and hit us. Even the usually indifferent weather on the Isle of Man only conspired to produce a wet morning, (but nothing whilst we were out watching).
With all the major championships well underway the main contenders will begin to show themselves. Let's hope it is another good season!
Keep checking back to see what we are up to...

18 AprPirelli Rally The BRC season opener saw a dominant win by the reigning champion Guy Wilks. The event had a trully International flavour with the Scandinavian countries well represented along with all the home nations. Elsewhere the Historics and National rallies were both close with just over ten seconds deciding them.
12 AprBaden Hall A new one for us as we travelled to Staffordshire to see round 1 of the British Cross County Championship. It certainly proved to be an entertaining day as large sections of the stages were a quagmire, making the event as much about survival as it was about speed. Cracking stuff!!!
05 AprBorder Counties Rally The second round of the National gravel and Scottish championships saw some interesting changes in the weather throughout the day. Sunseeker winner Marcus Dodd didn't get beyond stage 1 and it ended in a three way battle going in to the final stage with Barry Johnson taking victory from Jon Ingram.
29 MarNorth Humberside Stages A day of two halves as the morning stages were bathed in sunlight and the stages were dusty in places. Then in the afternoon it was a mixture of light rain and torrential downpours. Steve Perez managed to steer his way to a comfortable win after his prolonged absence due to injury following the Safari.
14 MarRace Retro For the first time in many years the Historic Motorsport Show, or Race Retro, did not clash with any other events for us. This allowed us to take in the show over the whole weekend. The highlight once again was the Group B rally car demonstration runs, with the slippery conditions making it quite tricky.
